We suggest a traffic light system is instead put in place,
possibly pressure controlled for Salcombe & Gordon Road as they
are less busy, as the current road design causes accidents and
poses a danger to drivers and pedestrians.
Many road users either ignore the roadabout and fail to slow down
or stop or simply do not realise is it there.
I feel, as a resident, that I would prefer having to wait slightly
longer to leave my road if it meant a safer journey I also feel
this way when I am in the position of a pedestrian.
I have spoken to some of my neighbours and they feel the same, that
the current road layout is unsafe.
