The Surrey Waste Partnership which is made up of 11 borough and district councils who are responsible for collecting household waste and Surrey County Council who is responsible for disposing of this waste.
The partnership's vision is to provide a strategy for a more sustainable future, in which resources are used and managed efficiently, so that
· The amount of waste produced will continue to be reduced or reused.
· Materials to be reused, recycled or composted will exceed 70%
· They achieve zero waste to landfill.
· The environment will be protected and enhanced for future generations.
