Minutes: The Chairman introduced members and officers present and welcomed everyone to the meeting.
The Chairman asked all parties present to introduce themselves. He then explained the procedure to be followed at the hearing.
The Council’s Temporary Principal Licensing Officer summarised the two Temporary Event Notice (TENs) applications and the objections received as set out in full in the report of the Deputy Chief Executive.
Having heard the evidence presented, the Sub-Committee retired to consider and determine the applications, having regard to the four licensing objectives.
Upon reconvening, the Chairman gave the Sub-Committee’s summary decision.
The full decision with reasons was notified to the applicant and other parties within one working day.
Resolved to reject the TENs applications submitted by Black Steel Ltd and to serve a counter notice in respect of the two TENs applications.
