We have an on-growing community and a larger number of children at school and in the close surroundings. The park gets very busy after school and there is need for more playing space for all ages .

Thank you for your petition, Hengrove Park already has a Multi- use Games Area (MUGA) and two play areas enclosing children’s play equipment. Additionally there is also an outdoor gym area and large areas of open space where children can play games.
At this stage we do not consider there to be a need for extra equipment and we do not have funding to increase the size of the existing areas.
We will however keep this under review.
